Looking for something to do this weekend that doesn’t break the bank? In need of some post Tax Day Relief? Why not meet with The Greasy Wiener at the LA Times Festival of Books at USC in Los Angeles April 22, 2017 – April 23, 2017. The Wiener will be hanging out all weekend at the USC Campus for the largest book festival in the country, join us for a 2 day celebration of music, comedy, photography, film, art, food and of course books! It includes poetry readings, live bands, chef demos, cultural entertainment and artists creating their art on-site.
General Admission is FREE to attend the Festival of Books while you may purchase tickets for various presentations and conversations. You’ll find various exhibitors that include booksellers, publishers, museums, theatres, literacy and cultural organizations selling books and other merchandise from clothing to handmade items.
While you’re browsing through books, shopping, enjoying some live music and some discussions you’ll want to take a break for a bite to eat, so don’t forget to visit us at Mc Carthy Quad at the Children’s Area with Oaxaca on Wheels and Recess Truck! So why not plan on making it a day outing to hang out with the family, experience this awesome event and then enjoy some of our delicious hand-made award-winning hot dogs, burgers and sausages!
