Wilmington Art Walk Mardi Gras Masquerade Friday February 3, 2017
Start the weekend off with The Greasy Wiener we’ll be at Wilmington Art Walk at Banning’s Landing in Wilmington on Friday February 3, 2017. Join us for a Mardi Gras Masquerade block party and visit local artists, crafters and merchants while enjoying the sounds and talent from local musicians. This neighborhood event will include a variety of art work on display, handmade goods, food trucks, live music, and more! With Valentine’s Day right around the corner it’s the perfect opportunity to do some shopping and find a one of a kind gift for your loved one with over 50 vendors to choose from!
Get into the spirit with festive music and entertainment in addition to the usual artists to visit, there will be a kids zone for crafts and beer garden.
If you’re in the South Bay area why not take the time to reconnect with this historic neighborhood and support the local arts. This event is produced by Avalon Arts and Culture Alliance, Office of Joe Buscaino CD15 and We Are the Next with the purpose of bringing together local artisans, musicians, crafters to showcase, sell, educate and celebrate the local arts of Wilmington while helping build programs within the community.
It’s free to attend, all ages are welcome, make this First Friday your family night out! We’ll be there along with some food truck friends: Keep it Casian and Sweet Suite Desert Truck. When it’s time to eat, we’ll be ready for you with our award-winning chili hot dogs and chili french fries, warm and delicious comfort food and cheat meal for the cool spring evening.
